Leaf On Head Disease

Wow, a mole has visited this blog. Welcome, mole! HOLY MOLE-Y!!!!! You've got a leaf growing out of your head!!

Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't realize that was a sensitive spot.

.

I've seen this leaf on head thing before. I've seen it in characters from Korea and Japan. I don't know what to make of it and neither does anyone I ask. You see, mole, I worry about you. This just doesn't occur in nature.

See, this bear doesn't have a leaf on its head.
Neither does this white rabbit.
This squirrel is a lot like you, but it lacks that leaf.
.
I don't know what to make of that leaf on your head. Does it mean you are wild? That you are magical? That you are minty fresh? I just don't know. Maybe readers of this blog can let me know what the leaf on head symbolizes.
.
For now I'll classify your disorder as 'Leaf On Head Disease'.

See! Now those are symbols I recognize! Clearly you are angry at me. Ooops. Sorry!

Update (January 28th, 2008): Wow! It turns out that leaf on your head means your magical! Read more by clicking here.

Pshaw. You're faulting a guy for his choice of biodegradeable fashion? His hat is a rapidly renewable resource, you know. Quite environmentally friendly if you ask me.

Ha ha! Somehow I don't think that leaf is supposed to be fashion. But maybe.

Any other ideas?

Well, this seems to be an intriguing question...at first I consulted medical journals dating back to the early 20th century, but I couldn't find anything related to 'Leaf on Head Disease' there. Then I read through the Bible because my Sunday school teacher says it has all of life's answers. I did find something about fig leaves, but they weren't covering heads...

At this point I was baffled, and almost ready to give up. I looked outside and saw the leaves falling off my trees, but none of the leaves landed on mole heads. Dejected, I heaved a miserable sigh and turned toward my bed to get some overdue sleep.

Suddenly, a gust of wind hit me full-blast in the face and, before I could react, was pulling me into my computer! Old WORD documents and my school papers flashed before my eyes before I entered the WORLD WIDE WEB!!! As I zoomed past crazy YouTube videos and private emails, something amazing caught my attention: there are CREATURES living inside the world wide web! The moment my mind registered interest in these creatures, my whirlwind tour slowed down...

Each creature was small and fuzzy, and though the gust of wind was gone, I was still blown away by what I realized next: these creatures all had some sort of foliage sprouting from their heads! I chatted casually with the creatures for almost an hour as they told me of their work. I offered to free the creatures from living inside the internet--to bring them with me when the wind came again to transport me back home. But they would hear nothing of it. You see, they are most definitely NOT trapped: they are the masters of the internet who keep information and communication streaming to computers all over the planet!

In all, there is no need to worry about this foliage mole: it is extremely content with it's leaf, it's life work and it's home! I'd say that Mole and its fellow foliage-internet-pals are the unsung heroes of the information age!

This whole lesson just goes to show that you can often learn more on fantastical journeys than you can from reading books!

Ha ha ha!

Really? That's crazy! I didn't know all that! Now I see that mole's purpose. He is the "Log In" Mole. When I thought he was hiding in that log from me, he was really just "logging in". I see clearly now!

Ha ha ha!
